Our Practices
At Peace Farm, we take pride in our sustainable farming practices which have evolved over the years. Starting with raising sheep inspired by childhood memories, we have now refined our operations to focus on a smaller selection of favorite breeds for the freezer. Our grass-fed, grain-finished lamb and beef are raised without antibiotics or hormones, ensuring quality and taste. The meat chickens enjoy a diet of Kalmbach Meat Bird feed on our open grassy pastures, while our Duroc and Duroc cross pigs thrive on free-choice McNaughton Local Hog feed supplemented with garden treats. Additionally, our free-range hens produce eggs with vibrant, dark orange yolks as they roam the farm freely, foraging for natural treats. We are committed to providing wholesome, delicious products while prioritizing the health and happiness of our animals.
